At Flirt we offer a Skirt-tificate which entitles the bearer to our Custom Skirt service. What comes with this service, you ask? Well let me tell you! After throwing her hands up in frustration for the 100th time yelling, "why doesn't anyone make anything that fits?" she can march herself over to Flirt in Park Slope, sit down in our comfy chair with a book of fabric swatches on her lap, and leisurely scan her choices. After finding the fabric she loves she can then try on samples of our 7 different skirt styles, pick her size, make any (minor) alterations to the fit (more elaborate changes can be discussed but may incur an additional charge) and, after confirming with one of our lovely salesladies that she is satisfied, 2 weeks later she will have her skirt in hand. Custom made for her, here in our Brooklyn-based Home Ec studio, by hand.

Now, to make it even easier for you to make this decision we are sweetening the deal by offering 20% off this service this weekend only. That means Saturday and Sunday. So don't miss out. Flirt Skirts from McCall's Pattern Company

Last year we were approached by McCall's Pattern Company to create a skirt pattern for their new Generation Next line of patterns. Generation Next is McCall's line of patterns featuring young independent designers and we are so flattered to be included. I mean, McCall's! How awesome is that??

The pattern has finally arrived and we are so excited. Based on our Flirt Aline skirt pattern there are 3 variations so now you can make your own Flirt Skirts at home. We know a lot of you have snap skirts! You wear them all the time. You love them on thin days and not so thin days (that's what is so great about that adjustable waistband!). This fabric is totally amazing and we don't have a lot of it so "snap it up" while you can. We know you may not think of this pale purple as a cold weather color but we ask you: why does dreary weather mean dreary colors? Pair this baby with some opaque tights and your favorite boots!

Fall Snap Skirts!

After a brief hiatus from clothing production (baby-having, book writing, etc) Flirt's clothing line is BACK in full force! Keep your eyes peeled for regularly appearing new designs. Our first offering? A variety of snap skirts perfect for throwing over leggings and tights in the (finally) cool weather!!

For those of you that may be unfamiliar our Snap Skirts are our most popular skirt style! Adjustable at the waist using a set of snaps these skirts are fantastic for everyone. Once you get your hands on one you realize you wish all your skirts had an adjustable waistband.
